This new, free Advocacy Support Group is geared toward individuals who advocate for someone with an intellectual, physical or developmental disability. 
The group meets monthly and is facilitated by our Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Division's supervisor, Alyssa Elsner, and LiFT Family Resource Center's coordinate, Ivory Granger, at Walter Fuller Recreation Center.

Each month the Advocacy Group will meet with different themes of support, such as Education, Medical, and Community Resources, by partnering with specialist in each of the desired fields. While the Advocacy Group is taking place, the Therapeutic Recreation team will provide a fun night of childcare with the Friday Night Fun program at Azalea Recreation Center.
